Lose That Extra Weight For Your Sake, Not Theirs

Sometimes it seems like the weight loss industry has got it backwards. The problem with extra fat is not that it looks bad, it’s that it is unhealthy. If more people understood the health problems surrounding excess fat, they might have more success losing it.

All of the weight loss programs out there seem to follow the same pattern. They use before and after photographs that are made to make you feel terrible about the way you look now and look forward to the way you could look if you buy their product.

Cell u loss and other products designed to smooth out dimples caused by cellulite are fine. That’s not the problem. The real problem is in the effect those fat thighs have on your physical well being. Only when you lose the weight and experience an increase in your personal health will you appreciate the real value of dieting. In some cultures, fat thighs are considered sexy, but that doesn’t make them healthy.

How is making people afraid to sit down on wooden bar stools because they think that people will laugh at them when the stools break going to help them lose weight? It doesn’t work that way. People who are ashamed of themselves are going to eat more, not less. They have come to associate food with comfort.

Give somebody a positive reason to lose weight, though, and they have a much better chance of shedding those pounds. If you believe in yourself, you can change for the better. If you don’t, you will not make positive changes in your lifestyle. In the end, your attitude towards yourself is what is going to spell success or failure in your efforts to lose weight.

One thing you can do for yourself if you feel you need to lose weight is read up on the benefits of a healthy lifestyle. Read about how much better you will feel if you start eating a diet that is high in nutrition and low in fat. Then try it. Once you get used to eating well, you won’t even want to go back to junk foods.

There are some great diet products out there. Some of the natural herbal products work just fine. However, you need to combine them with right diet and exercise if you want to see results. The more you eat right and exercise, the better you will feel and that will become your motivation for success.

Shame, however, is a recipe for disaster. Don’t let those who try to shame you into losing weight get the best of you. Would you really want to have them as friends, anyway? They might be thin, but they just spend their days sitting around on modern bar stools made for skinny people gossiping. You are better than that. Show them just how much better than them you are!
