Negative Calorie Diet Pros & Cons

If you’re searching for a solution to drop weight, there are many diet programs out there. One of those diet plans is the Negative Calorie Diet. The thought behind this diet plan is to eat foods that use up more calories to digest, than it does to consume them.

The fabulous thing about this diet is, it lets you eat as much food as you’d like and you hardly ever feel hungry while you are on it.  

Like any diet, the Negative Calorie Diet has its good and bad points.

This diet’s pros consist of an [easy-to-follow] diet program, rapid weight loss, the eating of healthier foods like fruits and vegetables, the increases to the metabolism, a flexible exercise plan, simple recipes, plus you can use this diet with other diet plans and supplements.

This diet is just right for you if you require rapid weight loss, love eating healthy fruits and vegetables, and want to to be able to eat as much as you want.

This diet plan’s cons are weight gain when you resume your normal diet; therefore, it will only benefit you if it is short term, and it excludes important dietary requirements like fats and proteins, and meal preparation takes a long time.

A definite objection to this diet is that it has some serious physical side effects like dizziness, oedema, cold intolerance, menstrual irregularity, and fatigue, which are a direct result of eating too few calories. And there has been no scientific verification that this plan is healthy or that there are certain foods that take more calories to digest than they are to eat.  

This diet is not the right type for you, if you don’t enjoy eating fruits and vegetables.

Overall, the Negative Calorie Diet is a great idea if you love eating fruits and vegetables and want to lose weight fast.  One of the healthy benefits of this diet is that it includes consuming extra raw foods which can reduce harmful toxins from your body.
